Guide to work orders, direct payment and platform fees
Availability depends on the current account, approved markets and effective policies. Pages show unavailability when prerequisites are incomplete. This guide explains the product workflow and does not replace the specific agreement and operative terms confirmed by the parties.
Agree on the work before starting
The company starts a work order from an on-platform freelance application or conversation. Both parties review scope, deliverables, milestone amounts, timing, acceptance criteria and applicable terms, and explicitly confirm the same version. Full-time recruiting and external job listings do not become these work orders.
Project compensation goes directly to the worker
After paying the worker externally, the company records the payment facts. The worker checks their actual receipt and responds explicitly. Partial receipts, mismatches, corrections and reverse refunds remain separate records. The platform does not hold project principal in this mode. Declarations and party receipts are not bank verification.
Company platform fees are separate
Before sending an order or confirming a fee-related amendment, the company reviews and explicitly agrees to the applicable platform fee quote, tax, beneficiary, due date and refund rules. These fees are not deducted from worker compensation. New orders cannot be sent without approved fee and related policies. This guide supplies no example rates as a charging basis.
Confirm delivery, acceptance and completion separately
The worker submits agreed milestones in sequence. The company explicitly accepts or requests revisions against the criteria. Scope, amount and deadline changes require bilateral confirmation. Inaction never automatically accepts delivery, confirms receipt or completes work. Work completion does not mean financial settlement.
Evidence, disputes and reviews
Authorized viewers can inspect private records and request evidence packages within their permissions. Files require safety review and downloads recheck authorization. Platform records and file hashes support verification but are not bank certification, Shanghai CA signatures or independent timestamps. The platform assists mediation; the applicable parties explicitly respond to proposals. Reviews follow the agreed double-blind window, and trust statistics disclose insufficient samples.
Legacy contracts retain their original treatment
Signing, company bills, worker settlements, payment and tax records under legacy platform-settled contracts continue under their original rules. They are not automatically converted to direct company payment or counted in new-mode trust. Check the displayed engagement mode before choosing the relevant workflow.
